NepTrack started from a simple observation: Nepal's GPS tracking market in 2024 was almost entirely made up of resellers running on foreign tracking software. When a bus operator in Kathmandu or a fleet manager in Pokhara wanted a custom feature, the answer was always the same. We will check with the vendor abroad. Most of the time, that meant waiting weeks or never getting it at all.

The founders decided to fix that from the ground up. Hari Prasad Chaudhary, a computer programmer with deep IoT expertise, spent over four years working in GPS tracking and telematics before sitting down to build Nepal's first indigenous TCP receiver, the core piece of infrastructure that lets a GPS device talk to a server.
