My friends and I are currently under 18, (16-17) and play poker. We play virtually in private lobbies (pokernow.club). Although I host it and keep track of debt and credit, I do not take a cut from any of the games and the games are played socially. It usually isn't illegal to host a friendly poker game in your house, as long as you don't take a rake out of the pot for profit. You can do the same online using a site like pokernow.club. It sets up a game with fake money chips, and any sort of monetary exchange could theoretically happen between you and your fellow players. Source: about 3 years ago
