My initial idea was to leverage the main applicationโs queue worker by deploying a queue worker remotely and setting up a secure connection between them using something like Wireguard. Stack Overflow wasnโt as big yet, and finding answers often meant digging through forums filled with half-baked solutions, each dependent on specific hosting configurations. That's the first I've heard of it, and I like it! I can't tell you the number of trips to php.net to look at argument order for a function. Is it haystack/needle, or needle/haystack? In Aveva PlantSCADA what is the advantage of using VBA versus CiCode? Is it merely syntax? I was hoping that if I used VBA I would have easier access to a richer API. One of the main things I want to be able to do is to format and send some HTTP POSTs to squadcast.com for push notifications. Right now I'm doing this with an external .NET assembly I created. We started using Squadcast: https://squadcast.com Their free and lower prices tiers offer a lot of what others have on their top/most expensive tiers.
