That's the first I've heard of it, and I like it! I can't tell you the number of trips to php.net to look at argument order for a function. Is it haystack/needle, or needle/haystack? If you still think a polymorphic component would be better, really can't deal with plain HTML, or donโt want to write CSS in a separate file (though I am not sure why), my next suggestion would be to take a look at PandaCSS and create custom patterns or explore other options like vanilla-extract.
