That's the first I've heard of it, and I like it! I can't tell you the number of trips to php.net to look at argument order for a function. Is it haystack/needle, or needle/haystack? I'm not sure about other Scheme interpreters but in my interpreter LIPS Scheme, there is (env) function that returns a list of symbols. You can also access environment objects e.g. (current-environment) return object that is used internally.
