StemPlayer separates any song into six stems (vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and other) and opens them in a mixer in your browser. Mute the part you play and practise with the rest of the band, solo a part to learn it by ear, slow the song down to half speed without changing the pitch, and...

As answered by people managing PhonicMind and StemPlayer.
StemPlayer's answer:
Six stems with dedicated guitar and piano channels, opened straight in a practice mixer in the browser. You do not get a zip of files to take somewhere else: you mute your part, slow the song down without changing the pitch, loop a section and play along, all in one place, with nothing to install.
StemPlayer's answer:
Moises and LALAL.AI are subscriptions and cap free use hard; Ultimate Vocal Remover is free but needs installing and a good graphics card. StemPlayer runs in any browser, on a laptop or a phone, is free while in beta, and is built for playing along rather than producing.
StemPlayer's answer:
Musicians who learn and practise songs by ear: guitarists, bass players and drummers who want to play their part with the real band, singers who need an instrumental, and teachers preparing play-along tracks for students.
StemPlayer's answer:
I am a gigging guitarist, and learning a part from a record always meant fighting the original guitar in the mix. Stem separation fixed that, but every tool either charged monthly, stopped at four stems, or dumped files I had to load into a DAW. I wanted to drop in a song, pull my part out and play. So I built StemPlayer for my own practice and opened it up for other musicians.
