  • Migrating from Phabricator to Azure Devops. Have some questions.
My company has used Phabricator, which is an alternative to Azure Devops, for about 5 years. A few days ago they announced that the project won't be maintained anymore, so we are looking into alternatives. We have around 50 devs+product folks that use Phabricator at the moment. Some orgs run GitHub Enterprise on-prem. Set up properly, it's not publicly accessible at all. Source: about 1 year ago
  • hE Is nOT qUaLifIeD!
I do. My company has an enterprise license and it basically just acts as a private corner of normal public-facing github. Basically like a private repo but instead of being scoped to a single repo it's a full multi-organization scope. All new report default to private, but can be flipped to public if we want to open-source some internal project. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Is there a microsoft TFS equivalent from Github?
Https://github.com/enterprise you can host it yourself or in the cloud. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Gitlab Critical Security Release: 14.8.2, 14.7.4, and 14.6.5
Well that confirms I can't afford it! Interestingly, this page isn't linked to from https://github.com/enterprise (except in the footer), where the calls to action are to either "start a free trial" or to "contact sales". - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
  • What you missed at GitHub Universe, the latest feature announcements
Ruby support for CodeQL is now coming in public beta, and secret scanning is now available to all GitHub Enterprise users. There's also the new security center we just launched in beta. This allows you to better manage your secrets, tokens, and credentials. Check out more about GitHub Enterprise on the website. - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago
