It is security orientated, but you still have to understand the basics and there are plenty of walk throughs. I use bitstamp.net for all spot trades. They're one of the oldest exchanges and have the best track record. All spot exchanges on crypto are illiquid compared to stablecoin pairs + futures exchanges.
