As answered by people managing PaceOut and one sec.
PaceOut's answer
PaceOut focuses on making screen time visible before the limit arrives. Instead of only blocking apps when time runs out, children see a simple pace ring showing how much time is left and get clear wrap-up warnings. It uses Apple Family Controls and is designed around privacy, with no browsing-history or private-message monitoring.
PaceOut's answer
Choose PaceOut if you want a simpler, less surveillance-heavy approach to family screen time. Parents still set the plan and boundaries, but children can see their remaining time and know what is coming next. It works with Apple's Family Controls rather than trying to replace or bypass them, and the free plan supports one child.
PaceOut's answer
Parents and families using iPhone and iPad who want clearer, more predictable screen-time routines for their children without detailed monitoring of what their children are doing online.
PaceOut's answer
PaceOut started from a simple product idea: screen-time limits are much easier to follow when children can see the boundary before they reach it. Rather than building another parental-control app centred on blocking and monitoring, PaceOut was designed around a shared daily pace that both the parent and child can understand.
PaceOut's answer
Swift, SwiftUI, Apple Family Controls, DeviceActivity and Screen Time APIs, CloudKit/iCloud, StoreKit 2, Sign in with Apple, Apple Watch and Siri Shortcuts.
PaceOut's answer
PaceOut is a consumer app used directly by individual families and does not currently have named enterprise customers.
