Orbit Commerce is a UK-built, all-in-one ecommerce platform for merchants, B2B sellers, and agencies. Storefront, checkout, multichannel selling, and marketing live in one system, so you run fewer apps and pay fewer add-on fees.
Design your store with a drag-and-drop page builder covering every page type, from product pages and cart to order confirmation and customer accounts, or start from 20+ industry-specific themes. Sell physical, digital, subscription, and service products, including bookings with deposits and recurring billing with failed-payment recovery. Sync two-way with Amazon and eBay, and feed products to Google Shopping, Meta, Microsoft, Pinterest, and Snapchat. Nebula, the built-in AI assistant, generates pages, rewrites copy, and creates images and brand kits.
Tools other platforms sell separately are included: abandoned-cart recovery, discounts, gift cards, customer segments, a blog, SEO with automatic redirects and sitemaps, multi-currency, multi-location inventory, returns, and carrier shipping labels. B2B is native, with company accounts, price lists, quantity breaks, and net terms. Migration tooling maps exports from every major platform.
Agencies run client portfolios from one dashboard: provision a store in under a minute across four hosting regions, log into any client store in one click, and manage domains, email hosting, and licences centrally. Developers get a GraphQL storefront API, a public REST API, webhooks, and an OAuth-scoped plugin SDK with a revenue-share marketplace.

LightspeedOrbit Commerce's answer
Orbit ships whole as one product. The page builder, checkout, marketplace sync, shopping feeds, abandoned-cart recovery, B2B pricing, multi-location inventory, returns, and shipping labels are all native features, not apps you bolt on and pay for monthly. Most platforms in this category are a thin core plus an app store, and the real cost only appears once you've added the five or six apps you actually need. The page builder is part of the core rather than a plugin, catalogue limits are generous where most platforms cap you on variants, images, and file sizes, and the admin is built to stay fast when you're bulk editing. Orbit's second difference is that agencies are a first-class user, not an afterthought: a dedicated portfolio dashboard, one-minute store provisioning across four hosting regions, one-click login to any client store, and central management of domains, email, and licences.
Orbit Commerce's answer
Predictable cost and less assembly. The features other platforms sell as add-ons are included, so the price you see is close to the price you pay, and you spend your time selling instead of stitching apps together and debugging where they overlap. You also get things that are usually separate products: native B2B with company accounts, price lists, quantity breaks, and net terms alongside your retail catalogue, a built-in AI assistant that generates pages and copy, and a GraphQL storefront API if you later want to go headless without replatforming. Migration tooling maps exports from every major platform, so trying Orbit doesn't mean rebuilding your catalogue by hand. UK-built and UK-supported, with four hosting regions to choose from.
Orbit Commerce's answer
Three groups. Small and mid-size online retailers who have outgrown a basic store builder and are tired of paying for a stack of apps. B2B and wholesale sellers who need company accounts, customer-specific pricing, quantity breaks, and net terms without a custom build. And ecommerce agencies and freelancers running multiple client stores, who need to provision, access, and bill for a portfolio from one place. Orbit suits merchants selling any mix of physical, digital, subscription, and service products, including bookings, and it fits teams that would rather learn one system than maintain six integrations.
Orbit Commerce's answer
Orbit came out of running our own brands and stores across every major ecommerce platform, and hitting the same walls on all of them. Sites buckling under plugin conflicts. Admin dashboards that took seconds to load. Servers to babysit. Tools where every job lived somewhere different. The hosted platforms removed the server problem but replaced it with a new one: essentials locked behind monthly app subscriptions, and arbitrary ceilings like three variant options, 250 images per product, and capped file sizes.
So we built the platform we kept reaching for. A fast admin where bulk edits don't lag. A visual page builder that is part of the core rather than bolted on as a plugin. Catalogue limits that don't stop you at an arbitrary number. Three principles decide everything: performance is non-negotiable, your whole business lives in a single admin, and the essentials such as subscriptions and digital products are included rather than paywalled.

TypeScript across the stack, with React on the front end and a Node.js API layer. PostgreSQL for data, Docker for deployment across four hosting regions. A GraphQL storefront API for headless builds sits alongside a public REST API and webhooks, with an OAuth-scoped plugin SDK powering the marketplace. The merchant mobile app is built with React Native. Payments run through Stripe among other gateways.
