Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing optiCutter and XPilot.so.

What makes your product unique?

XPilot.so's answer:

XPilot is the only Chrome extension that turns your real activity on X into a game. Instead of scheduling posts or auto-replying, you earn XP, level up, and build streaks for showing up yourself. It is a gamification layer for X growth: Duolingo-style progression for founders and creators who want consistency without bots, guilt, or another spreadsheet.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

XPilot.so's answer:

Schedulers like Buffer or Hypefury help you post. Analytics tools show you numbers after the fact. XPilot helps you build the habit of showing up daily. You get visible progress (XP, levels, streaks), shareable milestone cards, and a system that makes consistency feel rewarding instead of like unpaid homework. It never posts for you, so your growth stays authentic. And it is free during beta.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

XPilot.so's answer:

Founders, indie hackers, and creators who know they should grow on X but struggle to stay consistent. They want distribution and audience-building habits that stick, not another tool that schedules content or spams replies. Early-stage builders who are active on x.com and respond to game mechanics, streaks, and visible progress.

What's the story behind your product?

XPilot.so's answer:

Alex Cloudstar built XPilot after seeing the same pattern among founders: everyone knows X matters for distribution, but showing up daily feels like a chore. Spreadsheets and willpower do not last. XPilot started as a simple idea: what if growing on X felt like leveling up in a game? The product ships in public from xpilot.so, one feature at a time, starting with the core loop (XP, levels, streaks) and expanding into share cards, missions, and leaderboards.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

XPilot.so's answer:

Chrome Extension (Manifest V3) built with WXT and TypeScript. Next.js 16 (App Router) and React 19 for the website and API. Tailwind CSS for UI. Sign in with X (OAuth 2.0) for auth. Drizzle ORM with Neon Postgres for data storage. Jose for app JWTs. Deployed on Vercel.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

XPilot.so's answer:

XPilot is in early beta and free. There are no enterprise customers yet. Early testers and builders using the product include:

@thecodeguyy @nicklaunches @EndrewBiz @irbaazkadri @solopribuilds
