OpenMyPro is a booking marketplace for health, wellness and beauty services. It brings salons, spas, massage therapists, personal trainers, estheticians, acupuncturists, chiropractors and medical wellness providers into one place so you can compare them properly before booking.

Most local directories stop at a name and a phone number. OpenMyPro is built around the two questions that actually decide a booking: what does it cost, and can I get in this week? Listings carry transparent per-service pricing broken down by city, side-by-side provider comparison, real availability, and online booking that confirms your slot instead of sending an enquiry into a void.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing OpenMyPro and Synced.

What makes your product unique?

OpenMyPro's answer

OpenMyPro starts from the two questions that actually decide a booking, and that most directories answer last: what does this cost, and can I get in this week?

Most booking platforms are business software first (salon management, point of sale, staff rostering) with a consumer marketplace bolted on. Price usually only appears once you are already deep inside one provider's own booking flow, which turns comparing three salons into a twenty-minute job across three tabs and three different service names.

OpenMyPro is built consumer-first:

  • Per-service pricing published by city, up front, before you contact anyone
  • Providers laid out side by side so you can compare them properly
  • Real availability rather than a request form
  • Online booking that confirms your slot instead of sending an enquiry into a void
  • AI-powered matching for when you are not sure which kind of provider you actually need

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

OpenMyPro's answer

Because you can see the price before you talk to anyone.

Booksy, Fresha, MINDBODY, Zenoti, Glofox and Kitomba are genuinely good at what they were built for: running the business. Their consumer surface exists to fill the calendar of the studio that already licenses the software, so pricing normally lives inside each provider's own booking flow. That is fine once you have chosen your provider. It is painful while you are still deciding.

OpenMyPro is built for the deciding stage:

  • Per-service prices published by city, visible before you contact anyone
  • Providers side by side on the same page instead of across seven tabs
  • Real availability, so "can I get in this week" is answered before you commit
  • Booking that confirms online rather than sending an enquiry into a void

Honest scope, because it matters: we are a marketplace for people booking care, not practice-management software. If you are a salon owner who needs point of sale, inventory, payroll and staff rostering, one of the platforms above is the better fit and we would tell you so. If you are the person trying to book a massage, an esthetician, an acupuncturist, a chiropractor or a trainer without guessing at the bill, that is what we built.

Free to browse and search. Membership starts with a 14-day free trial, then $9.99/mo Founding Member (locked for life) or $15.99/mo SeekerPro, with a 30-day money-back guarantee and HSA/FSA cards accepted.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

OpenMyPro's answer

Two groups, and they meet in the same place.

The primary audience is the person booking care for themselves: massage, facials and skincare, acupuncture, chiropractic, personal training, salon and beauty, and medical wellness. Typically someone in a US metro who wants a specific service soon, cares what it will cost, and does not want to phone five places to find out. Price-sensitivity here is normal rather than embarrassing, and the whole product is built so nobody has to ask.

The second group is the independent provider and the small studio: solo massage therapists, estheticians, trainers, small clinics. They are the ones losing bookings to whoever answers the phone first. They benefit from being discoverable and comparable on transparent pricing and real availability, rather than only on how much they can outspend a chain on ads.

Browsing and searching are free and need no account, which matters because most people arrive at this while comparing, not while buying.

What's the story behind your product?

OpenMyPro's answer

OpenMyPro came out of a plain observation: booking a wellness or beauty appointment is one of the last everyday purchases where you often cannot see the price until you are most of the way through it.

Search a treatment in your city and you get a listing, a phone number, and "contact us for pricing". Try to compare three providers and you are reconciling three booking flows, three different names for the same service, and no reliable answer on whether anyone can actually see you this week. The information that decides the purchase is the information that is hardest to get.

So the product was built backwards from that problem: publish per-service prices by city, put providers side by side, show real availability, and confirm the booking online instead of passing an enquiry down a chain.

It is built by Blossend, a solo-founder software studio in Austin, Texas, as one of a family of products that follow the same rule: put the answer on the page instead of behind a form.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

OpenMyPro's answer

  • Next.js and React with TypeScript on the front end
  • Tailwind CSS for styling
  • Vercel for hosting and edge delivery
  • Supabase (PostgreSQL) as the single database, with auth and storage
  • Stripe for payments and subscriptions, PCI-compliant checkout, HSA/FSA cards accepted

The AI search and provider-matching layer runs on top of that rather than as a separate product.
