Https://opencode.ai/ OpenCode was the first agent harness I used, and I have always like it. You can configure a wide variety of providers, but it's open source and has a number of core contributors. The other opinionated option is Pi (the Pi agent harness). This is a great lightweight option and also supports a number of providers. You can also use local model servers. - Source: Hacker News / 3 days ago
OpenCode with GLM 5.2 wrote custom Emacs Lisp to pinpoint within the file where the missing or extra bracket could be. It rewrote the custom code to check various parts of the file. Each of those is a tool use and many, many tokens burned. The next step is to turn those custom scripts written by the AI agent into a tool to speed up the process, or a skill that shows how to use other tools to speed up the process. - Source: dev.to / 6 days ago
I gave GLM-4.5-Air (106B, open weights) 12 coding tasks through opencode on my RTX 3090. It scored 0% โ never edited a single file. - Source: dev.to / 7 days ago
Set up your stations. I work in two Ghostty terminals. The left side is for planning and viewing, the right for synchronous agents running through OpenCode. - Source: dev.to / 15 days ago
If you want to try it yourself: grab OpenCode, point it at OpenRouter, select GLM 5.2, and give it a real task instead of a benchmark. The z.ai docs have the rest of the details. - Source: dev.to / 16 days ago
Try a Steermouse free trial, it has MX Ergo S on the recommended mice list https://plentycom.jp/en/steermouse/ I donโt have a mouse on my Mac now (trackpad too good) but Steermouse has been around for about 25 years and I used it for many of those. - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago
Very cool, thanks! In a similar vein, I've been using SteerMouse (https://plentycom.jp/en/steermouse/) in the same way for many years, for the same reasons. Logi's hardware is nice, but their software just freaking sucks the electrons out of a battery. It's awful. I refuse to run their driver aka mini-OS just to do the right thing when I click a button with my thumb. - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago
I ditched Logi Options+ and use SteerMouse instead. I wouldn't call myself a mouse power-user, but it's been good enough for me. https://plentycom.jp/en/steermouse/. - Source: Hacker News / 6 months ago
Shout out for SteerMouse! https://plentycom.jp/en/steermouse/ It's a kind of magical mouse driver that supports nearly every USB mouse made, including _all_ the quirky little buttons and extra functions. As the author said, it's ultra-light-weight, native Mac UI (none of that weird chrome slop that companies like Razer insist upon using). I use mine with a funky Razer "MMO" mouse that has a funny numeric keypad on... - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
Just switched from logi options to Steer Mouse myself. You can map the buttons and add chords. The only thing it might lack is being able to use mouse movement as a trigger (eg hold the back button and move left to change spaces). Still looking for it https://plentycom.jp/en/steermouse/. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
