Https://pi.dev/docs/latest/providers#openai-codex is specific that it "Requires ChatGPT Plus or Pro subscription". https://opencode.ai are also both specific that it's for "Plus/Pro" subscriptions. Is there some link where you saw free tier Codex use in non-official apps is allowed by OpenAI? Well this would be a free trial thing, but I use lawdepot.com. I occasionally need NDA's and employment contracts but know nothing about them, so I like just answer the questionnaire on the site and having it spit out the document I need :) I'd highly recommend accepting the need to cancel it or paying for a month considering the headache it saves.
