Features and specs

What each product offers, as listed by its team.

Opalstack 5 features
Abelo 10 features
  • Developer-Friendly Hosting
Opalstack is designed with developers in mind, offering SSH access, Git integration, and support for multiple programming languages and frameworks including Python, Node.js, Ruby, and PHP, giving developers granular control over their hosting environment.
  • Affordable Pricing
Opalstack offers competitive pricing for shared and managed hosting plans, making it an accessible option for small businesses, freelancers, and individual developers who need robust features without enterprise-level costs.
  • Modern Control Panel
Opalstack provides a clean, modern, and intuitive web-based dashboard for managing sites, applications, databases, and email accounts, which is a significant improvement over older-style hosting control panels like cPanel.
  • Strong Support for Multiple Applications
The platform supports a wide variety of application types including WordPress, Django, Flask, Express, static sites, and more, allowing users to host diverse projects on a single account with easy deployment.
  • Reliable Infrastructure and Support
Opalstack is built by former WebFaction team members, bringing experienced hosting expertise. They offer responsive customer support and a reputation for stable, well-managed server infrastructure with good uptime.

Possible disadvantages

  • Smaller Community and Ecosystem
Compared to major hosting providers like DigitalOcean, AWS, or even shared hosts like SiteGround, Opalstack has a smaller user base, which means fewer community tutorials, third-party guides, and forum discussions available for troubleshooting.
  • Limited Scalability Options
Opalstack is primarily a shared hosting provider, which means it may not be the best choice for high-traffic applications or projects that require rapid, on-demand scaling of resources like CPU, RAM, or storage.
  • Not Ideal for Beginners
While developer-friendly, Opalstack's approach can be intimidating for non-technical users. Setting up applications often requires familiarity with the command line and server configuration, which may not suit those looking for simple one-click solutions.
  • Limited Data Center Locations
Opalstack offers a relatively small number of data center locations compared to major cloud providers, which may result in higher latency for users targeting audiences in regions not well-served by the available server locations.
  • Fewer Managed Services and Add-ons
Unlike larger hosting platforms, Opalstack lacks a wide range of managed add-on services such as built-in CDN integration, managed backups with granular restore options, or one-click SSL management that more mainstream providers offer out of the box.
  • Viber & WhatsApp campaigns
Reach customers where they actually read — chat apps hit up to 98% open rates vs. 18% for email, so your offers get seen instead of buried.
  • Abandoned Cart Recovery
Automatically win back lost sales with personal chat reminders that turn forgotten carts into completed checkouts — on autopilot.
  • AI campaign generator
Create campaign copy and visuals in seconds. No copywriter, no designer — just hit send and save hours on every campaign.
  • Smart customer segmentation
Target by purchase history, browsing activity, order frequency, and spend, so the right offer reaches the right customer every time.
  • 1:1 message personalization
Customer names, tailored discounts, and product recommendations make every message feel handwritten — not mass-blasted.
  • Automated revenue flows
Set-and-forget flows for post-purchase upsells, win-backs, and back-in-stock alerts that sell 24/7 with zero manual effort.
  • Real-time ROI attribution
Every message, order, and conversion tracked live — revenue, messaging costs, and ROI at a glance, down to the euro.
  • E-commerce platform integrations
Connect Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or any custom platform via API. Products, customers, and orders sync to power every campaign.
  • Shoppable product carousels
Showcase multiple products with images, prices, and buy buttons inside the chat, so customers browse and buy without leaving the conversation.
  • Flash sales in minutes
Pick your audience, craft the message with AI, and launch a targeted promo in minutes — landing straight on customers' mobiles.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Opalstack and Abelo.

What makes your product unique?

Abelo's answer:

VibeCart is the first sales and marketing platform built specifically for selling on Viber and WhatsApp — the channels where Southeast European shoppers actually live. Most tools treat chat as an add-on to email; VibeCart is chat-native. It reads your store data in real time and acts as an autonomous sales agent, automatically running cart recovery, product launches, and personalized campaigns that convert 5–10x better than email or SMS. AI generates the copy and visuals, and every order is attributed in real time — so it does the work of a full marketing team with zero manual effort.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Abelo's answer:

Channel, automation, and proof. Competitors push email and SMS — channels with ~18% open rates and rising fatigue. VibeCart puts you on Viber and WhatsApp, where open rates reach 98% and messages actually get read. It's autonomous: AI writes the copy, segments your audience, and runs flows on autopilot, so you don't need a copywriter, designer, or extra staff. And every euro is tracked — real-time ROI attribution shows exactly what your marketing earns, so you never have to guess. It's purpose-built for Greece and Southeast Europe, not a US tool awkwardly translated.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Abelo's answer:

Small and mid-sized e-commerce stores in Greece and Southeast Europe (Bulgaria, Serbia, Romania) running on Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento — merchants whose customers use Viber and WhatsApp daily but who are stuck with email and SMS tools that under-deliver. Typically store owners and marketing leads who want more revenue without hiring more people, across fashion, health & beauty, electronics, home & garden, pharmacy, pet supplies, food & beverage, and more.

What's the story behind your product?

Abelo's answer:

VibeCart was born from a clear gap. Across Southeast Europe, 110,000+ e-shops rely on Viber as the everyday way they reach customers — yet every marketing tool on the market ignored it, forcing merchants into email and SMS that shoppers tune out. Built by Trebbble, an Athens-based product company, VibeCart set out to turn the region's favorite chat apps into a 24/7 revenue engine for online stores — giving local merchants an autonomous, AI-powered sales agent that levels the playing field with the big players. The mission starts in Greece and expands across the Balkans.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Abelo's answer:

VibeCart integrates with the Viber Business Messages API and the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API), connects to e-commerce platforms via the Shopify, WooCommerce, and Magento APIs (plus custom platforms via API), and uses AI/LLMs for campaign copy and image generation. Core stack is GCP.
