As answered by people managing Objects and Scorafy.
Scorafy's answer:
Most assessment tools use AI to write the questions and then mark against an answer key. Scorafy uses AI to mark the answers: it reads each open-ended response against a rubric you define, scores every criterion, and cites the specific evidence in the respondent's own words behind each score. Every result is held in draft until one of your assessors reviews it, overrides anything they disagree with, and releases it - and the overrides, configuration versions and releases are all kept on an auditable record you can export in one click.
Scorafy's answer:
Choose Scorafy when the results matter enough to be questioned: results shown to the people they are about, compared across a cohort, or feeding a certification or hiring decision. It is built so a judgement can be reconstructed rather than reasserted - evidence behind every score, a human sign-off before anything is released, and an audit trail you can hand over on request. If you just need informal, low-stakes feedback with no audit requirement, a general chat tool is honestly enough and Scorafy says so on its own site.
Scorafy's answer:
Corporate L&D and onboarding teams evaluating open-ended work at scale, registered training organisations and certification bodies that need defensible assessment records, and educators marking against rubrics. Anyone whose real problem is "hundreds of written or recorded answers, one standard, not enough assessor hours".
Scorafy's answer:
Scorafy was founded in Copenhagen in 2026 by an assessment specialist with a background in education and workplace evaluation. The starting frustration: AI tools were flooding into assessment at the question-writing end while the genuinely expensive part - reading and judging what people actually wrote - stayed manual, and the tools that did automate it produced scores nobody could defend. Scorafy was designed around the opposite premise: the AI drafts the evaluation with its evidence showing, and a qualified person stays in control of what gets released.
Scorafy's answer:
The AI evaluation runs on Claude by Anthropic - disclosed openly, and customer data is never used to train models. The platform is built on Next.js and PostgreSQL with row-level isolation per organisation, hosted with EU (Dublin) data residency as primary and an Australian (Sydney) option available.
