Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Nullstack and Todos.now.

What makes your product unique?

Todos.now's answer:

Todos.now is the first zero-knowledge encrypted to-do app that combines simplicity with serious productivity tools โ€” Kanban, Pomodoro timers, Matrix-style collaboration, and calendar reports โ€” all while keeping your data private. Unlike other task apps that sync everything to their servers, Todos.now encrypts tasks end-to-end so even we canโ€™t see them. Itโ€™s productivity with peace of mind.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Todos.now's answer:

Because Todos.now is built for people who value focus and privacy. Most to-do apps either sell your data or overload you with distractions and upsells. Todos.now keeps you in flow - fast, offline-ready, no ads, and no trackers. Itโ€™s designed by productivity enthusiasts who actually use it daily. Whether youโ€™re organizing your life, your startup, or your study routine, Todos.now keeps your tasks organized without compromising your data.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Todos.now's answer:

Our core users are productivity-minded individuals, students, entrepreneurs, and remote teams who want modern task management without the privacy trade-off. Theyโ€™re people who love tools like Notion or Trello but want something faster, lighter, and fully encrypted.

What's the story behind your product?

Todos.now's answer:

Todos.now began as a side project by productivity geeks who wanted a fast, distraction-free way to manage tasks securely, something that respected usersโ€™ privacy as much as their time. After testing dozens of apps, none felt right. So we built one from scratch, combining the best ideas from GTD, Kanban, and minimalism into one beautiful, secure platform. What started as a weekend experiment is now a growing movement for mindful productivity.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Todos.now's answer:

Todos.now is built with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, using end-to-end AES-GCM encryption with Argon2id key derivation. The app is a webapp and can be used as a Progressive Web App (PWA), syncs securely via API, and is fully responsive across mobile and desktop.
