I've never been enticed by a landing page (yes, datapoint of one). It's either recommendation from source I trust (which has included reddit) and some demo/review available somewhere. There there use to be a stronger distinction between Text Editors and IDEโs. I use a program called Revo Uninstaller found here. There is a paid and free version, I use the free version and it works fine. When you select a program to uninstall through Revo, it will launch the program's uninstaller first, then it will find leftover files/registry data and give you the choice to delete them.
