Land your next interview 10x faster

Pick the roles you like, hit Apply, and Maestra autofills and submits every form in secondsโ€”no typing, no copy-pasting, no busywork. Early users landed multiple interviews in its first 30 days.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ’ป Built by a Frustrated Job-Seeker My senior year of college, I fired off 450 applications and heard almost nothing back. I settled for a job I hated, kept grinding out more applications, and still got nowhere.

So I made a tool to do the busywork for meโ€”an early version of whatโ€™s now Maestra. I chose the jobs and it filled out every application while I went back to living my life.

Result? In less than 50 days I lined up multiple interviews and landed a role I actually enjoyโ€”with double the pay. Now Iโ€™m handing that same super-power to every job seeker whoโ€™s tired of the traditional job search.

โœจ Features

โœ๏ธ Autofill Applications
Stop re-typing details. Maestra recognizes every field on top ATS platformsโ€”Lever, Greenhouse, AshbyHQโ€”then reads the job post, blends it with your resume, and crafts custom answers โ€”even for open-ended questions.

๐Ÿค– Batch Apply
Tick 5, 15, or 50 job listings, click Apply, and Maestraโ€™s in-browser agents fire off each application at onceโ€”no waiting, no juggling tabs.

๐Ÿ•‘ Save Hours, Get More Shots Users report reclaiming 6-10 hours a week and landing more interviews simply by sending more high-quality applications.

๐Ÿ” Why Job Seekers Love Maestra

โœ… Apply to More Jobs: Users send 10โ€“20ร— more applications each month. โœ… Finish Faster: The whole search now takes under 10 minutes a day. โœ… Stress Less: Automation erases the tedious, repetitive parts of job hunting.

Node.js features and specs

  • Asynchronous and Event-Driven
Node.js uses an asynchronous, non-blocking, and event-driven I/O model, making it efficient and scalable for handling multiple simultaneous connections.
  • JavaScript Everywhere
Developers can use JavaScript for both client-side and server-side programming, providing a unified language environment and better synergy between front-end and back-end development.
  • Large Community and NPM
Node.js has a vibrant community and a rich ecosystem with the Node Package Manager (NPM), which offers thousands of open-source libraries and tools that can be integrated easily into projects.
  • High Performance
Built on the V8 JavaScript engine from Google, Node.js translates JavaScript directly into native machine code, which increases performance and speed.
  • Scalability
Designed with microservices and scalability in mind, Node.js enables easy horizontal scaling across multiple servers.
  • JSON Support
Node.js seamlessly handles JSON, which is a common format for API responses, making it an excellent choice for building RESTful APIs and data-intensive real-time applications.

Possible disadvantages of Node.js

  • Callback Hell
The reliance on callbacks to manage asynchronous operations can lead to deeply nested and difficult-to-read code, commonly referred to as 'Callback Hell'.
  • Not Suitable for CPU-Intensive Tasks
Node.js is optimized for I/O operations and can become inefficient for CPU-intensive tasks, slowing down overall performance due to its single-threaded event loop.
  • Immaturity of Tools
Compared to more established technologies, some Node.js libraries and tools still lack maturity and comprehensive documentation, which can be challenging for developers.
  • Callback and Promise Overheads
Managing asynchronous operations using callbacks or promises can lead to additional complexity and overhead, impacting maintainability and performance if not handled correctly.
  • Fragmented Ecosystem
The fast-paced evolution of Node.js and its ecosystem can lead to fragmentation, with numerous versions and libraries that may not always be compatible with each other.
  • Security Issues
The extensive use of third-party libraries via NPM can introduce security vulnerabilities if not properly managed and updated, making applications more susceptible to attacks.

Maestra features and specs

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Node.js and Maestra.

What makes your product unique?

Maestra's answer:

๐Ÿ‘ฏ How is Maestra different from other tools like Simplify?

๐Ÿง  Smarter Applications Most tools, like Simplify, reuse the same answers based only on the information you give them. They canโ€™t go beyond what youโ€™ve provided. Maestra takes it further. It reads your resume, understands your background, and infers the best response for each question โ€” even ones it hasnโ€™t seen before. Every application is unique, personalized, and tailored to the job.

๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ One Click, Many Jobs Other tools make you visit each job and apply one by one. Maestra handles it differently. It scans the page for jobs it can apply to, lets you choose the ones you want, and then sends AI agents to handle the applications in parallel. Each agent runs in its own tab, fills out the form intelligently, and only asks for help if it gets stuck.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

What's the story behind your product?

Maestra's answer:

๐Ÿ‘ทโ€โ™‚๏ธ Why did I build Maestra? In 2023, I graduated with a computer science degree and spent six months applying to over 450 jobs. I got one interview. Thatโ€™s when I realized the job search process wasnโ€™t just tedious, it was broken. Maestra is the tool I wish I had, one that gives job seekers control, speed, and as many shots on goal as it takes to land their next job.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Maestra's answer:

Early to mid career professionals in highly competitive spaces that bias towards tech. So far most users are software engineers and product managers.

User types fall into 1 of 2 categories: 1. New grads looking for their first role out of college 2. Job hopper professionals that don't want to spend the time outside of work applying to jobs but want better opportunities

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Maestra's answer:

Supabase, OpenAI api, Windsurf.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Maestra's answer:

Top case studies of users include:

Started applying 2 months before discovering Maestra, couldn't seem to land an interview and grew tired of the application process. After finding Maestra, he's managed to land 6 interviews in just 30 days and is in final rounds for 2 of them.

Abhishek M. a mid level software engineer looking to hop from his current role and hoping for a huge bump in salary. He's been in the field for ~3 years and after a few months of applying with no luck he discovered Maestra at the end of May. So far he's landed 3 interviews in just 30 days.

  • What's an event loop anyways?
Event loops are a paradigm for processing events different than your typical single-threaded or multi-threaded application. Your request gets broken down into async "events" that are executed in a loop to improve performance and minimize synchronization across threads. It is famously used by Node.js as the backbone of their event processing and also by several other technologies like Redis and Nginx. - Source: dev.to / 4 days ago
