Korvix3D is a subscription marketplace for 3D models, but it's built a bit differently than most. Instead of asking creators to manually export and upload files, it uses a two way bridge plugin that works right inside the software they already use, like Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, Unity, Unreal Engine, or SketchUp. When a creator hits publish, the plugin automatically packages up both the native source file and a validated GLB (the platform's universal delivery format), so buyers get clean, ready to use assets without any manual conversion.

On the subscriber side, there's a Free tier plus Pro ($12/mo) and Plus ($25/mo) plans, giving access to a growing catalog of game ready props, characters, and environments. A curated CC0 collection means the library isn't empty when you land on it.

On the creator side, payouts work differently too. Rather than a flat per download rate, Korvix3D splits subscriber revenue among the creators whose assets actually got used, weighted by quality (based on admin review plus user ratings) and verification tier. The idea is to reward consistently good work rather than just volume.

Korvix3D is bootstrapped, DPIIT recognised, and incubated at iStart Jodhpur. It's built by working 3D artists, for other 3D artists and studios.

Node.js features and specs

  • Asynchronous and Event-Driven
Node.js uses an asynchronous, non-blocking, and event-driven I/O model, making it efficient and scalable for handling multiple simultaneous connections.
  • JavaScript Everywhere
Developers can use JavaScript for both client-side and server-side programming, providing a unified language environment and better synergy between front-end and back-end development.
  • Large Community and NPM
Node.js has a vibrant community and a rich ecosystem with the Node Package Manager (NPM), which offers thousands of open-source libraries and tools that can be integrated easily into projects.
  • High Performance
Built on the V8 JavaScript engine from Google, Node.js translates JavaScript directly into native machine code, which increases performance and speed.
  • Scalability
Designed with microservices and scalability in mind, Node.js enables easy horizontal scaling across multiple servers.
  • JSON Support
Node.js seamlessly handles JSON, which is a common format for API responses, making it an excellent choice for building RESTful APIs and data-intensive real-time applications.

Possible disadvantages of Node.js

  • Callback Hell
The reliance on callbacks to manage asynchronous operations can lead to deeply nested and difficult-to-read code, commonly referred to as 'Callback Hell'.
  • Not Suitable for CPU-Intensive Tasks
Node.js is optimized for I/O operations and can become inefficient for CPU-intensive tasks, slowing down overall performance due to its single-threaded event loop.
  • Immaturity of Tools
Compared to more established technologies, some Node.js libraries and tools still lack maturity and comprehensive documentation, which can be challenging for developers.
  • Callback and Promise Overheads
Managing asynchronous operations using callbacks or promises can lead to additional complexity and overhead, impacting maintainability and performance if not handled correctly.
  • Fragmented Ecosystem
The fast-paced evolution of Node.js and its ecosystem can lead to fragmentation, with numerous versions and libraries that may not always be compatible with each other.
  • Security Issues
The extensive use of third-party libraries via NPM can introduce security vulnerabilities if not properly managed and updated, making applications more susceptible to attacks.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Node.js and Korvix3D.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Korvix3D's answer:

Korvix3D's frontend is deployed on AWS. The creator-side bridge plugins are built with Python across Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, Unity, Unreal Engine, and SketchUp, converting each software's native format to a validated GLB for universal delivery. Payments run through RazorPay, PayPal, NowPayments.

What makes your product unique?

Korvix3D's answer:

Korvix3D uses a two-way bridge plugin instead of a manual upload workflow. Creators export directly from Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, or SketchUp, and the plugin automatically packages both the native source file and a validated GLB on publish. Payouts also work differently: rather than a flat rate per download, revenue is pooled and split among creators based on actual usage and quality, not just upload volume.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Korvix3D's answer:

Most 3D marketplaces like CGTrader, TurboSquid, 3DExport, and 3DOcean rely on manual uploads and flat per-download payouts. Korvix3D's bridge plugin removes the export and conversion busywork, and every asset ships with a ready-to-use GLB alongside the source file. On the creator side, the effort-weighted payout model rewards consistent quality over sheer volume, which tends to favor working artists over bulk uploaders.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Korvix3D's answer:

Game developers, 3D artists, and small studios who need production-ready assets across multiple software pipelines, plus 3D creators looking for a fairer, quality-weighted way to earn from their work.

What's the story behind your product?

Korvix3D's answer:

Korvix3D was founded by a practicing 3D artist with a background building Blender add-ons and tools. The idea grew out of firsthand frustration with existing 3D marketplaces: clunky upload workflows, inconsistent file formats, and payout models that reward volume over quality. Korvix3D launched in July 2026, bootstrapped and incubated at iStart Jodhpur.
