Https://nicotine-plus.org/ for the free software/UNIX people, by the way. I don't use it anymore since getting into private trackers because the network (central server) is proprietary, the experience is much less polished than BT and I want to be sure of the release (LABEL/CATALOGNUMBER) I'm downloading. - Source: Hacker News / 29 days ago
Limewire aint touchin soulseek and it has people building alt.clients https://nicotine-plus.org/. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
There are many things I've found on soulseek that are simply not on the public (and few private) trackers I check. I can only imagine the same applies to usenet. similarly, soulseek is limited to 1 peer at a time, which some might consider "ill-suited to the task" anyways I love www.slsknet.org clients exist: - https://nicotine-plus.org/ - https://github.com/slskd/slskd. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago

After starting the project called socketify.py at https://github.com/cirospaciari/socketify.py, I got pretty good results and reviews, but many people asked if socketify.py could be used to create a WSGI and ASGI server. WSGI and ASGI have a lot of overhead, that's is why I choose not to use them in the first place, but adding an ASGI and WSGI server allows a lot of code already written to run faster!
