Next.js
FormatNext.js has become the de-facto standard for our frontend engineering team when building modern web applications. The Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG) are absolutely essential for our product's SEO strategy and fast indexing.
The transition to the App Router initially required a paradigm shift for our developers, but it ultimately made our architecture much more scalable. We love that the framework handles the heavy liftingโimage optimization, code splitting, and routingโallowing our team to focus purely on business logic. It provides a phenomenal Developer Experience that keeps our deployment cycles fast and predictable.
Based on our record, Next.js seems to be a lot more popular than Format. While we know about 1139 links to Next.js, we've tracked only 9 mentions of Format. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.

Anyone who's worked with React knows it's easy to get started with, and you can quickly become quite productive. However, once you move beyond the basics and need full-stack capabilities, like server-side rendering (SSR), selecting a React framework becomes the next step. Two of the most popular frameworks are Next.js and Remix. Both provide powerful tools to build high-performance web applications, but their... - Source: dev.to / about 2 months ago

This simple project runs a Next.js app which has the Prisma ORM client as a shared package. Prisma was chosen specifically because the client requires code-generation that must be run locally as well as in the container, and setting it up also demonstrates how to configure the environment so Prisma can talk to the Postgresql database from the host as well as when run in the container. - Source: dev.to / about 2 months ago

I exported a bunch of 8-bit TIFFs from C1-21 today. The Finder reported them all around 92Mb (Sony A7r3 files). I tried to upload them to my site at format.com only to have half rejected for being "over 100Mb". Source: over 3 years ago

I usually connect by quick connect, but my website host is coming to an end. It is currently on format.com, a photography site. I started to make a site in php, and rather than configure mamp, I thought I'd put my images on synology. Ever since installing web station, maria, phpmyadmin, I can't connect via 192.xx.xx.xx, only quick station. For a while I could connect by localip/phpmyadmin/index.php. Source: over 3 years ago
I got an email from The Type Founders about a font that I'm using on my website, wich is made in format.com, using their available fonts. The email says I'm using a font on my website without license... I don't understand, I'm using one of the fonts that format lets you choose, so it would be more of a problem from format than from me right? I would like to get some help on this regard. Is this a normal situation... Source: over 3 years ago
