Overall verdict

  • I don't have verified information about SnappCode (snappcode.eu) in my training data, so I can't confirm its quality, features, pricing, or reputation. It may be a newer, niche, or low-visibility product that hasn't been widely reviewed or documented in sources available to me. I believe Synology's UPS monitoring is based on nut-server[1]. In my setup, I am running the server on a separate machine that reads UPS state over USB and Synology is just a client. If you have the skills, I would SSH into the NAS and see if the device is 'noticed' or better yet recognised by the USB sub-system when you plug it it.
