Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Nansen and CryptoPulse.

What's the story behind your product?

CryptoPulse's answer:

CryptoPulse started in 2026 from a simple observation: the on-chain data that moves markets is public, but the tooling to read it was priced for funds, not individuals. So we built a real-time scanner across 34+ EVM chains, an alerting engine, and an AI signal bot — and instead of asking anyone to trust the marketing, made the bot's entire signal history public. Bootstrapped, live, and revenue-generating.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

CryptoPulse's answer:

Retail crypto traders — individuals trading their own money who want to see what smart-money wallets are doing before the crowd does, without an institutional subscription. A secondary audience of quants, builders, and AI agents uses the API and MCP access.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

CryptoPulse's answer:

Next.js (React, TypeScript) and Node.js for the platform, MySQL for data, and a Python evolutionary trading engine behind the Alpha-bot. LLM-powered analysis features (Wallet Narrator, Roast My Wallet), alert delivery via Telegram, Discord, and email, Stripe and NOWPayments (350+ coins) for billing, and an open API plus MCP server for programmatic and AI-agent access.

What makes your product unique?

CryptoPulse's answer:

CryptoPulse publishes its AI signal bot's complete track record — every signal with outcomes and cumulative P&L, derived from recorded history, auditable by anyone without an account at cryptopulse.uno/bot. Free visitors see the same feed subscribers get, just on a 4-hour delay. Combined with real-time whale-movement tracking across 34+ EVM chains at a retail price, that's a combination the incumbents don't offer: whale intelligence with receipts, from $19/mo.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

CryptoPulse's answer:

Price and proof. Institutional platforms like Nansen and Arkham cost hundreds to thousands per month or gate data behind enterprise sales; free tools like Whale Alert and Etherscan show raw transfers with no scoring, narration, or alerting. CryptoPulse sits in between: multi-chain whale alerts, Smart Money Scoring, an AI Wallet Narrator, and a signal feed whose full history is public before you pay a cent. The tiering is honest too — the free tier isn't crippled, it's delayed; paying buys speed, not access to hidden truth.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

CryptoPulse's answer:

  • Independent retail crypto traders (our core users) ▎ - Crypto trading communities on Telegram and Discord ▎ - Indie quants and AI-agent builders on the API/MCP tier

  • I built a sell planner to dodge the pros. They were under 4% of buys
The whole design rested on one assumption. The data knocked it down in the first afternoon. This post covers what I assumed, what Nansen's labels showed, and which part of the product turned out to do the real work. - Source: dev.to / 9 days ago
  • Nansen called Binance 14 a 'Token Billionaire'. The name cost 1 credit
I built Sent Wrong to answer that one question. You paste the address you sent to (and your own, if you like). It runs up to ten calls against Nansen's API and gives you one of four routes, the evidence behind it, and a support ticket... - Source: dev.to / 9 days ago
  • 50,000 property tests passed while my app crowned an impostor
I built a tool to answer that. You type a ticker, and it asks Nansen's API for every token with that name across chains. Then it checks who actually holds and trades each one: labelled Smart Money, whales, top-PnL wallets, exchange flow,... - Source: dev.to / 9 days ago
