What makes your product unique?

RedfireForge's answer:

Six API protocols in one UI: HTTP, GraphQL, gRPC, WebSocket, SSE, and Kafka. Most tools cover one or two protocols. RedfireForge covers all six with a shared variable system, a visual workflow designer, load testing, and a built-in mock server — plus a CLI that uses the same engine as the UI. It runs as a desktop app (Tauri) or in the browser. AGPL v3, local-first, no account required.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

RedfireForge's answer:

If you work with more than one protocol, you stop switching tools. HTTP, GraphQL, gRPC, WebSocket, SSE, and Kafka share the same collections, environments, and workflow graph. Load tests and mock server are built in — no extra installs. The CLI runs the same tests in CI. Current release is 0.8.x and free under AGPL v3.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

RedfireForge's answer:

Backend and platform engineers who test or integrate APIs across multiple protocols. Also QA engineers running load tests and developers who want a local mock server without a separate tool. Anyone tired of keeping four separate clients open for one service.

What's the story behind your product?

RedfireForge's answer:

uilt because keeping a REST client, grpcurl, wscat, and a load runner open at the same time was slowing down API work. The goal was one local-first workbench that covers the full protocol stack — HTTP through Kafka — with the same engine in the UI and in CI. Released as AGPL v3 so it can run on private networks without sending data to a cloud service.
