I have a server (hosted by Logic) which we tried to upgrade to 1.20.50 tonight. However, when the server starts it shows that it's loading 1.20.40. Logic has tried to help me, and I've tried downloading the file directly from Minecraft.net, same results. I've blown away every single file from the server and tried fresh, it just keeps coming up as 1.20.40 and when my upgraded client tries to connect I get an error... Source: almost 2 years ago
So I used to mod back in the day on 1.12 and I tried to do it again on 1.20, does anyone have a (working) tutorial on how to get this to work because every time I press play on the modpack I have created on curseforge it leads me to this dumb "Migrate" screen, once I press it it brings me to minecraft.net where I am still logged into my minecraft account so I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Get caffeine.exe from this link (bottom of the page). It's just an exe file. No installation. It sits in the bottom right corner. It will press F15 every 59 seconds. F15 is not on your keyboard but is a remnant of old operating systems. It's never used by any software either. Source: about 3 years ago
