Playcode is an AI app builder for non-technical teams. Describe a website, portal, dashboard, internal tool, or app in plain language, and Playcode AI builds it while Playcode Cloud runs it with a real backend, database, files, HTTPS, preview links, custom domains, background jobs, WebSockets, snapshots, and rollback under current plan limits.
Playcode supports visual editing, AI chat iteration, AI-generated images, voice or text input in many languages, mobile building, publishing, and custom domains. No programmers are needed to start, and finished projects can move toward real business outcomes like leads, bookings, signups, and payments.

I started two weeks ago by sitting down to plan my game in Milanote. They had an ad on YT and it looked like the best tool for the job. I quickly added a gazillion small notes and hit the free limit. I realized the unlimited plan cost $10 a month. Whhaaaat? So I just did some Sulla-like purges between those ideas hopefully keeping the most successful ones. - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
Heptabase is terrific. If you are however very very visual: https://milanote.com/. Source: over 2 years ago
I like Milanote for a lot of writing tasks and use the paid version. In my novel-length works, each character gets a "board," which can be a character profile, reference art, a mood board, etc. Or ALL of those in one. Your mileage will depend on your tolerance of the price point and how many characters you have. Source: about 3 years ago
And here's a tool to help: https://milanote.com/ I've fallen in love with this thing because it let's you construct a visual board with it all your nodes a separate bubbles connected with lines, basically a digital cork board for pining then and stifling things around as the players proceed to waltz through your world. ยซPlease shut up and take my moneyยป. Jokes aside - canโt wait. Your book The Lean Startup helped me so much. I read it tens of times. Itโs one of the reason I got great traction with mine startup https://playcode.io - AI App Builder on our custom cloud. Thank you Eric. - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
I built a complete clone if fly.io infrastructure: VMs, networks, etc. So I have my Vercel on bare metal machines to maintain full-stack apps on https://playcode.io. It took more than a year. - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
I completely rebuilt this sync engine + orm with relations, lazy loading etc, using Vue + Pinia in https://playcode.io. Google Linearโs videos, they explained in detail their architecture. Yes, I spent a few months. But it worth it. Every new field, model I need to add, it is so straightforward. I do love frameworks and foundations. They make live easier later by a lot. - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
Donโt get me wrong, but 7K LoCs means it is still an early attempt to make a coding agent. It starts easy โah it can edit and read files!โ, but it requires a lot of extra effort to make properly for many edge cases, especially caching, price optimizations, etc. Iโve been implementing custom coding agent in https://playcode.io for 3 years already. Far beyond of 7K LoCs. So when you compare to โshitty slowโ Claude... - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
- k8s is insane peace of software. A right tool for a big problem. Not for your toys. Yes, it is crazy difficult to setup and manage. Then what? - cloud has bad and slow disk. BS. They have perfectly fast NVME. Something else? Thatโs it. Why I am so confident? I used to setup and manage kubernetes for 2 years. I have some experience. Do I use it more? Nope. Not a right tool for me. Ansible with some custom Linux... - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago
