   Code.org is much easier to use than Thunkable.First of all names say everything.Second,it has more modes than just "drag-and-drop".

   👍 Pros:    Pretty design|Price|Easy layout

   👎 Cons:    Unproffesional|Lack support by phone|No sign up cost

  While the editor seems to old fashioned there isn't anything particularly wrong in using it for learning. Alternatively you can propose to your teacher about https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/vs/express/ . IMO editor is not a big factor when we are talking about high school learning.   My four year old was kicked out of his preschool class, and the school recommended I set him up with applied behavioral analysis.
