The solution really depends on what sort of problems you are trying to solve and who your customers are. You might want to look at building a passive solar water heater. According to sciencedirect.com, "passive solar water heating systems generally transfer heat by natural circulation as a result of buoyancy due to temperature difference between two regimes; hence they do not require pumps to operate.
