  • Tesla share down another 5%
That's incorrect. You also need to get some better sources. EPA.gov, the ICCT report, and sciencedirect.com are highly political institutions. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Scientifically Documented Medical Miracle
First of all, sciencedirect.com is not a peer reviewed science site. it gets a 2 out of 4 stars when rated by actual scientists. Source: over 1 year ago
  • What's your "hot take" or unpopular opinion when it comes to dating?
The source "sciencedirect.com" is at the end of the quote and you can easily do your own research but you won't. Also the point is to show the hypocrisy that people accept random standards like that because you're programmed to. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Solar Power for Coop Water Warmer
You might want to look at building a passive solar water heater. According to sciencedirect.com, "passive solar water heating systems generally transfer heat by natural circulation as a result of buoyancy due to temperature difference between two regimes; hence they do not require pumps to operate. They are the most commonly used solar water heating systems for domestic application." They are non-electric. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Malcolm X would have been a great guest in today's political climate
Lol, you think the Constitution is an economic document? It's a political document dude. Look up Liberalism in the fucking dictionary and stop wasting everyone time by posting shit from "sciencedirect.com". Source: almost 2 years ago

  • [Request] If we assume a normal distribution and the reader being average, what would be the closest heartbeat another person on the planet have to them, in terms of daily or yearly drift?
In this case, tough, both of the articles are from peer reviewed journals, and both cell.com and sciencedirect.com are run by Elsevier, one of the biggest, if not the biggest science journal publishers. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Is it fair to say that (unnecessary) antibiotic use is the leaded gasoline of our times?

  • [Article] Development of a closed wash/formulation process for CAR-T drug product
I think the article is an abstract, that that is all there is, I'm not sure if it will be published in a more complete form at some point. I have looked at the source pdf via sciencedirect.com and that is all I can see too. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Where else do you get your skincare knowledge besides from this subreddit
I also like the skin care articles on byrdie.com, and like the other poster mentioned direct scientific papers and articles on sites like sciencedirect.com and https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/ can be very useful. Source: over 2 years ago
  • What does this mean?
Is this bad joke? "sciencedirect.com". Source: over 2 years ago
  • [D] Papers that SCREAM "I'm just writing this for academic credit"
No need to be angry here. The paper is published in "Journal of King Saud University - Computer and Information Sciences". I haven't even heard about that university. So it's very likely to be just some random journal that would publish everything they receive. It could be predatory, in that it charges exorbitant publication fees and makes a profit out of it, or it could just be low quality. The fact that it is... Source: over 2 years ago
  • Sky News Australia deletes dozens of videos promoting unproven Covid treatments
Meanwhile you can verify each study listed through another more official source like PubMed, doi.org of sciencedirect.com as a few examples. I just tried all three of those and the doi.org works. So I selected one at random, copied the doi:xxx info, pasted it in the search box on doi.org and got a result for the publication. Source: over 2 years ago
  • I've never understood how African Thai #15 is such a strong sativa when it has everything I look for terpene wise for an indica. Those myrcene levels are unbelievable.
That's not a study. What you posted is the search results for every time Caryophyllene was used in any entry on sciencedirect.com. I'm not going through thousands of entries, most of which are simply describing the chemical structure of caryophyllene and other terpenes, because you posted a link. And even what you just said. There is absolutely potential for terpene theory to be true, but "potential to be true"... Source: almost 3 years ago

  • How do you value current services to change your diet habits?
I have shared this study as I am trying to build a solution to support people change their diets to cure psoriasis. It was shared by many people that drastic change in diet cured their psoriasis. There are also some evidence on sciencedirect.com that diet can improve/worsen our psoriasis. Having psoriasis for 10 years, I find it very challenging to remove lots of nutrients at the same time amongst which alcohol... Source: about 3 years ago
