The solution really depends on what sort of problems you are trying to solve and who your customers are. Plus, there are other apps you can use like TextNow or textPlus that can assign you temporary US numbers if you want to make free calls to other US numbers + numbers from a few other countries too. I just don't like using those apps too much as the phone numbers are all recycled so it's not uncommon to receive spam calls or weird texts from people since a lot of sex workers like to use these recycled VoIP numbers...
