What makes your product unique?

Junban's answer:

It applies one single mechanic — "did this come out before or after?" — to everything: music (with clips built into the app, no Spotify needed), movies, history, sport, and sagas like Harry Potter, Star Wars or One Piece. Physical games like Hitster or Timeline each cover one theme per box; Junban covers 50+ themes in one free app, playable solo, offline, or with up to 4 players online.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Junban's answer:

No card box to buy, no Spotify subscription required, and no content limit: a physical deck gets memorised, an app gets updated. Junban also does what boxes can't — ranked solo play with a worldwide leaderboard, daily challenges, offline mode, and remote multiplayer with friends who aren't in the room.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Junban's answer:

Anyone who enjoys quiz nights: friends at a party, families with mixed ages (kids can beat their parents on the right theme), and solo players on their commute. Fans of Hitster and Timeline looking for a lighter, subscription-free version are right at home.

What's the story behind your product?

Junban's answer:

Junban is built by a French solo indie developer who loved Hitster game nights but not the card box + streaming subscription it requires. He rebuilt the core loop as an app with the clips built in, then realised the before/after mechanic works for movies, history and sagas too — it now has 50+ themes in 6 languages.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Junban's answer:

Ionic + Capacitor (single React codebase for iOS and Android), Supabase for the backend and leaderboards, RevenueCat for in-app purchases.
