Alternatives were Rows and Airtable. Rows tends to be better at calculation, while Airtable tends to be better at storing and sorting data as a database. I was not aware of the open-source alternative called Baserow at the time. Self-hosting an app like this would allow you to bypass API rate limits altogether, if you're open to it.
