Hello! I am taking the early childhood education part two: math exam in a couple of weeks. I am wondering if anyone has any resources they'd recommend. I have the barrons book from a few years ago, and I have been looking at online prep resources like study.com, teachercertification.com, or mathhelp.com. If you've used any of those online resources or can tell me more about the pearson practice exam (it doesn't... Source: over 3 years ago
I took my ALEKS placement test for college and got a HORRIBLE score, so now I'm going to study for literally the first time ever. I found a good course on mathhelp.com but it costs over $40 a month, so does anyone know a good way to study for something like that? Source: over 4 years ago
I found a website (mathhelp.com) that claims to have ALEKS placement test practice exams. Is this legit? I don't want to be fooled by fake practice exams. Source: almost 5 years ago
Spend a long session, like 3 hours on the areas you're stuck on, Watch videos, find someone you can ask questions, (r/homeworkhelp is a good resource) whatever, Khan academy, and mathhelp.com were my jam. I went online to mathhelp.com and bought their accuplacer prep course for $50. I spent 6-7 hours a day for a 3 weeks just going through all the modules. I had to relearn basic multiplication, long division, and 5th grade fractions even. I worked my way up to logarithms, and trigonometry. I did every module quiz and test, and didn't proceed to the next lesson until I got 100%. Source: about 5 years ago
However, a little research was enough to dispel that misconception. Yes, there was a technical aspect to programming, but most developers weren't doing complex calculations all the time. So, my preconceptions faded away and turned into great curiosity and interest. I started studying JavaScript, HTML, and CSS on YouTube and also studied on Codecademy platform. - Source: dev.to / about 2 years ago

If you really have decided to become the next Guru on Scratch then you should learn at least one real programming language like JavaScript. I found this JavaScript course very useful: https://learnjavascript.online/. You can also learn Java and Python on codecademy.com. - Source: dev.to / almost 3 years ago
Codecademy.com makes use of a similar approach to the one you mentioned in order to teach JavaScript (and HTML and CSS), giving immediate feedback for the code you write on your browser (except that it uses the browser, as mentioned, instead of an IDE). Source: about 3 years ago
