Mapserver StackBlitzI've started using this as my main IDE for new projects when I'm trying things out. If it keeps getting better at the rate it has been, it'll be even better than coding locally.

If you want to get into web GeoDjango is a popular option for the backend, but you could also learn to roll your own with flask/FastAPI.
