Github is a legitimate website owned by microsoft, used for publishing the source code of open source programs. They do have a desktop client, however if you did not install it, it could be malware pretending to be it. Run a malwarebytes scan, and check Autoruns. Source: 12 months ago

Just use the contact form on bitdefender.com give them the email address that you use to log in and tell them that you don't want to auto-renew. They'll try to be pushy and persuade you into keeping the auto-renew active, just reiterate what you said, that you don't want to auto-renew. Source: over 2 years ago
Https://www.malwarebytes.com try this antimalware there is a free version just for scanning and thats all you need or you can go to bitdefender.com and try there just go to the free tools and get them if those dont pick anything up try superantispyware.com should work and delete anything you have on your pc that is malware.
