Making Today's answer
Busy professionals, knowledge workers, and productivity-focused individuals who manage complex workflows across multiple tools and platforms. They often juggle work projects, side hustles, personal tasks, and digital clutterโand are looking for a centralised, streamlined way to stay organised and focused.
Making Today's answer
It started with a feeling we all know too well: scattered.
Juggling work, side projects, emails, meetings, files, and dozens of open tabsโeach living in a different app. One for your calendar. Another for tasks. A third for notes. A fourth for docs. It felt like work just to find your work.
We built Making Today because we wanted a better way to work smarter, not scattered. A personal command center that pulls everything togetherโfrom Google Docs and Jira tickets to emails, notes, links, and filesโso youโre not wasting mental energy figuring out where things live.
Instead of switching tabs and losing focus, we wanted to stay in one place and get things done. Whether itโs planning a trip, managing a sprint, writing content, or just organizing your day, Making Today gives you the clarity and control to handle it all.
Once we started using it, we couldnโt imagine going back. And we realizedโitโs not just a tool, itโs a new way to work.

As someone with reasonably good mental math skills (120+ score consistently on https://arithmetic.zetamac.com/, default settings), I cannot really say it helps me much in the real life, at least not on the surface. It sure is nice to be able to estimate some things accurately without having to resort to a calculator, but in no way would anything change in the way I think or conclusions I make if I had to use one,... - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago

You should also find an online arithmetic drill site and set it up to give you 1-digit addition, subtraction, and multiplication problems. You don't have to memorize all the 1-digit number facts (I didn't until I was in college) but boy howdy will it speed you up. You should drill until you can do about 30 in two minutes. I recommend arithmetic.zetamac.com ; you should select addition and multiplication only,... Source: almost 2 years ago
I've spent time improving my written arithmetic with games like https://arithmetic.zetamac.com/. Speed drills. I still struggle with arithmetic that is prompted without being written down. I.e. If someone said "43+12" I would find this hard whereas doing this on a written online speed drill is fine. Does anyone have any resources that would say outloud basic arithmetic questions and I can then input the answers? Source: about 2 years ago
I quite like this for helping cognition but weirdly I can still be good at it but have awful memory at the same time. It's quite addictive just press start. Https://arithmetic.zetamac.com. Source: over 2 years ago
