This is one of the strangest side effects of AI-assisted development becoming mainstream. Tools such as Lovable, v0, Bolt, Base44, Google AI Studio, Replit, and Claude can take a plain-language description and turn it into a working interface in minutes. But somewhere between typing your "build me a portfolio website" prompt and watching the interface come to life, a huge number of us end up with something that... - Source: dev.to / 6 days ago

A solo founder using Bolt or Lovable can go from idea to working prototype in a weekend. Cursor handles multi-file refactoring on a production codebase. If the company you work for has subscribed to Github, you probably benefit from a more substantial offer with additional features (GitHub Team or GitHub Enterprise). - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago
Some orgs run GitHub Enterprise on-prem. Set up properly, it's not publicly accessible at all. Source: over 3 years ago
I do. My company has an enterprise license and it basically just acts as a private corner of normal public-facing github. Basically like a private repo but instead of being scoped to a single repo it's a full multi-organization scope. All new report default to private, but can be flipped to public if we want to open-source some internal project. Source: over 3 years ago
