   Essential Professional Network — Valuable but Sometimes Noisy

   I use LinkedIn almost every day for career networking, following industry news, and job hunting, and overall it’s been very useful. It’s the go-to place to connect with colleagues, recruiters, and professionals in your field — and I’ve gotten valuable opportunities just from profile visibility and posts.

   The job search tools are solid, with alerts and recommended roles based on your profile. It’s also handy for building your personal brand by sharing content or engaging with discussions in your industry.

   That said, LinkedIn’s feed can sometimes feel noisy with overly promotional posts, irrelevant updates, or recruiters spamming every connection. And while the Premium subscription adds features like InMail and deeper insights, it feels pricey if you’re only occasionally job hunting.

   Overall, LinkedIn is a powerful professional platform that delivers real value, but it’s not perfect

  You don't have to use a VPN; you can go to hellofresh.co.uk, hellofresh.ca, hellofresh.ie hellofresh.com.au, or hellofresh.co.nz from the US (and I would presume most places) for recipes from English speaking countries, or if you can read/work out other languages or are ok with using machine translation, various European countries including hellofresh.es (Spain) hellofresh.de (Germany), hellofresh.nl...   Also hellofresh.ca, hellofresh.co.uk, and hellofresh.com.au, offer different recipes than the US HF. (hellofresh.de also exists if you are willing to deal with the recipes being in German). Source: over 4 years ago

• What do you do when you get burnt out?

  You can in fact browse and search the recipes page on hellofresh.ca, hellofresh.com.au, hellofresh.co.uk, and (if you speak German or are willing to deal with recipe translation) hellofresh.de from within the US, and I don't see why they would be otherwise inaccessible.   However, I will say that searching red lentils on the hellofresh.ca recipes turns up 32 results compared with 12 for lentils on hellofresh.com . Source: over 4 years ago
