Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing LinkedAsk.me and Open Devdocs.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

LinkedAsk.me's answer

Chrome extension, Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud, Gemini.

What makes your product unique?

LinkedAsk.me's answer

LinkedAsk keeps the record of your LinkedIn activity that LinkedIn itself doesn't keep: profiles you visited, invites you sent and which ones got accepted, posts you reacted to, who replied to your messages, and who viewed your profile. It builds that history while you use LinkedIn as usual, so there's nothing to enter by hand. You can ask questions about your own activity in plain English and get back a chart or a list of people, or connect Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor to your data over MCP.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

LinkedAsk.me's answer

Tools like Waalaxy and Dripify send invites and messages for you, and LinkedIn CRMs are usually priced for sales teams. LinkedAsk has no campaigns or sequences in it. It's built for one person who writes their own messages and wants to remember who they talked to, who they invited and who went quiet. Pro costs $12/month, or $5/month billed yearly. Your data stays yours: export it as CSV, pull it through an API key, or query it with your own AI assistant.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

LinkedAsk.me's answer

People who do their own outreach on LinkedIn from a single account: freelancers, consultants, coaches, solo founders, individual salespeople and job seekers. They spend time on LinkedIn every week and lose track of who they visited, who they invited and who stopped replying.

What's the story behind your product?

LinkedAsk.me's answer

I'm a founder and I do my LinkedIn outreach by hand. After a few weeks I couldn't remember who I'd already visited, which invites were still pending, or who had replied and then gone quiet. LinkedIn shows you who viewed your profile, but it keeps no list of the profiles you visited and doesn't flag invites that have sat unanswered for a month. I built a Chrome extension that records that history while I use LinkedIn. Then I added a dashboard and an AI chat so I could ask questions about my own outreach, like which invites got accepted or who viewed my profile after I messaged them.
