Https://lightbot.com/ While not as direct or effective, if you want an "algorithmic" magic trick, a fun one is the Kruskal count. It shows how you can predict exactly where the spectator's "random" moves will end up. https://faculty.uml.edu/rmontenegro/research/kruskal_count/kruskal.html. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
My daughter and I play "dadbot" where I'm the robot and she has to give me clear instructions on what I should do. It started after I showed her https://lightbot.com/ but we like the "screen-free" nature of dadbot better. Eventually she jumps on my back and the game doesn't last much longer because dadbot gets tired. - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago

My four year old was kicked out of his preschool class, and the school recommended I set him up with applied behavioral analysis. Though it hurt to read the email from the school, I don't blame them at all, he does have impulse control issues and doesn't always pay attention when others are talking to him.
