  • Customer Support Limitations
Some users have noted that customer support response times or issue resolution can be slower than expected, particularly for urgent project needs.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing LeaveVia and WorkFall.

What makes your product unique?

LeaveVia's answer

LeaveVia is designed for small and growing teams that need more control than a spreadsheet, but do not want the complexity of a full HR suite. It combines leave requests and approvals, balance history, accruals, carry-over rules, public holidays, team availability, coverage warnings and calendar sync in one focused system. It also supports bulk balance adjustments, making recurring additional leave credits easier to manage while keeping an individual audit trail for each employee.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

LeaveVia's answer

LeaveVia is a strong fit for organisations that want practical leave management without paying for or administering a much broader HR platform. It keeps leave balances, approvals, policies, availability and coverage in one place, with clear records of how balances change over time. Pricing is structured by workspace size rather than requiring a separate charge for every individual feature, and the product is built around straightforward day-to-day use by small teams.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

LeaveVia's answer

LeaveVia is primarily built for small and growing businesses with roughly 10 to 50 people, especially teams where leave administration is handled by an owner, office manager, operations manager, HR administrator or team lead rather than a large HR department. It is particularly useful for organisations moving away from spreadsheets, shared calendars or email-based leave tracking.

What's the story behind your product?

LeaveVia's answer

LeaveVia was created around a simple problem: many small businesses eventually outgrow spreadsheets and shared calendars for managing leave, but a full HR suite can be more complex than they need. The goal was to build a focused, practical system that makes leave balances, approvals and team availability easier to manage while remaining straightforward for smaller organisations.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

LeaveVia's answer

LeaveVia is a modern web application built primarily with TypeScript and React, with a PostgreSQL-based backend and Supabase infrastructure for data, authentication and server-side application services.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

LeaveVia's answer

LeaveVia is designed for small and growing organisations. We do not publish customer or trial organisation names without their permission.
