Last year I took my doggie to a Getaway cabin for some glamping; I went to the Barber Creek location which is about a 2 hr drive. It's a "Getaway" campground. Sites include these minimalist, almost off the grid (there is a phone for emergencies) trailers with a huge window looking out on the scenery. They have a bunch of campgrounds across the country, would highly recommend if you're wanting a disconnected camping experience but don't necessarily have the gear. https://getaway.house/.
