In blockchain.com u dont actually own the address, you can access your account, but the address is all blockchain property, so they choose which address you have access to and so forth. Source: over 2 years ago

This is anecdotal and I have no idea what it means for SOFI business wise or stock wise moving forward but they just sent me a notice that they are no longer offering any forms of crypto buying or investing and they are selling/giving their current crypto customers to blockchain.com in a few weeks.
