Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing LaunchRender and SteadFolio.

What's the story behind your product?

SteadFolio's answer:

SteadFolio started from a simple frustration: learning how to invest often meant choosing between oversimplified social media advice and complicated financial content that assumed you already understood the basics. The idea was to build the middle ground, a place where someone starting from zero could learn at their own pace, practice without risking real money and gradually become a more confident long-term investor.

What makes your product unique?

SteadFolio's answer:

SteadFolio combines structured investing education, an AI investing coach and practical tools in one guided experience. Instead of simply giving users information or investment signals, it takes beginners step by step from learning the basics to safely practicing with paper trading, simulations, historical scenarios, and understanding their own portfolio.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

SteadFolio's answer:

SteadFolio is primarily for beginner and aspiring long-term investors who have little or no previous investing experience. It is especially designed for people who want to understand investing before putting their money at risk, rather than people looking for day trading, speculation or investment signals.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

SteadFolio's answer:

SteadFolio is currently focused on individual retail investors and is in its early growth stage. We do not currently have enterprise customers to list.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

SteadFolio's answer:

SteadFolio is built using Google Cloud infrastructure and AI technologies, with Claude (Anthropic) used extensively for AI development and product intelligence.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

SteadFolio's answer:

SteadFolio is built specifically for people who are new to investing and feel overwhelmed by the amount of information available. It combines a structured learning path with Sofia, an AI investing coach, and practical tools that let users practice before risking real money. There are no stock picks, sales pitches, or trading signals, just education, practice and a clear next step.
