I'm one of the creators of Kreya [1]. We were one (or the) first to support a fully-offline, git-centric local data storage in this space. Kreya is privacy-first since its first commit five years ago, since we were fed up with Postman and Insomnia. We are using system webviews for https://kreya.app (not Tauri, but a custom implementation) and the platform differences are seldom a problem... Polyfills fix most of the things and we are running automated end to end test on Linux, which catches most of the issues. IMO the most difficult thing is figuring out how far the users are behind with their webview version, mostly on Linux and macOS. Windows has done... - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago

Looks very nice; I've also given up with Postman. Grpc support would probably get Bruno into my daily workflow immediately. I spent a couple hours in Postman trying to get gRPC to work and could not- the .proto files were never used successfully, and I had better experiences with Kreya [0] and grpcui [1]. I started with Buffer since everyone knows the name. It has been around forever as a scheduler, and now it has a newer GraphQL API that replaced the older, more limited one. - Source: dev.to / 2 months ago
We could have built full autopilot รขยย generate, schedule, post, done. Tools like Buffer and Hootsuite give you scheduling. Some newer tools now offer auto-posting. We deliberately didn't go that route for the first version, and the reason is data. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
The concept is simple but technically ambitious. We are going to execute a strategy of "dogfooding" (eating our own food). Instead of using third-party tools like Buffer or Hootsuite, we will build a custom distribution engine using the very technologies we write about: Generative AI and CI/CD Pipelines. - Source: dev.to / 7 months ago
Promotion is keyโdon't wait for people to find your campaign. Actively share updates on social media, write blog posts, and engage with industry influencers. Transparency with your backers through regular progress reports builds trust and encourages long-term support. Platforms like GitHub Sponsors offer built-in transparency tools to connect with your backers directly. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
๐ Work-life balance: While the startup grind is often intense, maintaining a healthy work-life balance is crucial for long-term success and employee well-being.
