Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Keepsake.place and AZIPCODE.

What makes your product unique?

Keepsake.place's answer

Keepsake combines four tools into one: quick notes, tasks, journal, and contact management. The QuickNote system lets you capture any thought in 2 seconds โ€” even offline. Then you sort everything each evening with one-click transforms. Most apps do one thing well. Keepsake connects your thoughts to the people and projects they belong to, in a single line: @contact + #tag + T+3 creates a task due in 3 days, linked to a person and a project.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Keepsake.place's answer

Simplicity. Tools like Notion are powerful but complex โ€” most people abandon them within weeks. Keepsake is built around two habits: capture everything without thinking, sort it each evening. No setup, no learning curve. It works in under 5 seconds from the moment you open it. It's also built by a solo founder who reads every email and ships improvements weekly.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Keepsake.place's answer

Creative professionals, entrepreneurs, freelancers, and anyone who juggles multiple projects and relationships. People who think a lot, have ideas constantly, and need a simple system to get it all out of their head without losing anything.

What's the story behind your product?

Keepsake.place's answer

I built Keepsake because I couldn't find a tool that was both simple and complete. I had notes in Apple Notes, tasks in Todoist, contacts in my phone, and a journal on paper. Nothing was connected. I wanted one place to capture everything, link it to people and projects, and review it each evening. So I built it โ€” first for myself, then for my newsletter audience of 20,000 readers. It launched in February 2026.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Keepsake.place's answer

Next.js, React, Supabase (PostgreSQL), Tailwind CSS, Vercel. Progressive Web App with full offline support.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Keepsake.place's answer

โ€ข Entrepreneurs and solopreneurs managing multiple projects โ€ข Authors and content creators organizing ideas and research โ€ข Freelancers tracking client relationships and tasks โ€ข Coaches and consultants managing personal contacts
