KAYAK aggregates information from a wide range of travel websites, offering users a broad selection of flights, hotels, car rentals, and vacation packages.
  • Price Alerts
Users can set up price alerts for flights and hotels, allowing them to get notified when prices drop, which helps in securing the best deals.
  • Travel Tools
KAYAK offers additional tools like a trip organizer, currency converter, and travel guides, which can enhance the travel planning experience.
  • Mobile App

Possible disadvantages of KAYAK

  • Additional Fees
Sometimes the prices shown on KAYAK do not include additional fees that may be charged by the airline or hotel during the booking process, potentially leading to unexpected costs.
  • Sponsored Results
Sponsored listings may appear in search results, which can sometimes prioritize advertisers over displaying the absolute best deals for users.
  • Lack of Post-Booking Support
Since KAYAK acts as an aggregator and not a direct booking platform, post-booking customer support is handled by the service provider, which can result in fragmented support experiences.
  • Inconsistent Information
There can be inconsistencies between the information shown on KAYAK and the actual information on the booking provider's website, such as room availability or additional amenities.
  • Account Integration
While KAYAK offers integration with some loyalty programs, it may not support all frequent flyer or hotel loyalty accounts, limiting benefits for some frequent travelers.

  • Tips for a 24F solo trip to LA for the first time (specifically flight/itinerary) in a little over a month??
Depending on where you end up staying, consider flying to Burbank (BUR). airport. Its vastly smaller than LAX, so quicker to get in and out of, shorter lines at security, etc. And its closer than LAX to places like Hollywood. • I get so stressed that I can't even solve an easy leet code problem on my own
The only Leet Code problems I am able to solve on my own are the most simplest and straightforward ones on Coding Bat(https://codingbat.com/java). And I haven't even got the chance to solve all of them yet, so I've really only been trying out its first few and am not sure if it gets any harder. Source: about 3 years ago
  • How do you stay consistent in coding.
If youโ€™re struggling with Loops and Arrays iโ€™d recommend doing exercises focused just on them. I went through the same thing and I went through the exercises on https://codingbat.com/java and got familiar with both of them. If you get stuck on a problem donโ€™t be afraid to look at the solution and learn about how it works. Source: about 3 years ago

I used this video series to get ahead of my intro to cs class. Iโ€™d recommend you find something similar to learn from. Just learn the basics, and youโ€™ll be much more prepared for your college class. Whatโ€™s really important is to do a lot of practice problems, and not just watch videos to learn the concepts.
