WorkshopFetch is built with Next.js 15, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and the Next.js App Router. It is deployed as a web application on Vercel.

What makes your product unique?

WorkshopFetch clearly shows the delivery path Steam actually provides for an individual public Workshop item. It displays a validated Steam-hosted file link only when one is available; otherwise, it prepares the item-specific SteamCMD command to run locally. It never hosts, proxies, or redistributes Workshop files.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

WorkshopFetch provides a focused and transparent workflow without requiring an account. It does not claim that every Workshop item can be downloaded, and it does not invent download links. Users see the public item information returned by Steam and the download option that is actually available.

WorkshopFetch is designed for PC gamers, mod users, server administrators, and other Steam Workshop users who want to check a public item’s metadata and determine whether Steam provides a public direct link or requires a local SteamCMD workflow.

WorkshopFetch was created to make checking Steam Workshop items simpler and more transparent. Instead of promising universal downloads, it checks one public item at a time and shows the access path Steam actually provides while respecting Steam, game, and account restrictions.
