Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Joobee.app and GitHub Copilot.

What makes your product unique?

Joobee.app's answer

Joobee.app is unique because it turns job hunting into a structured, measurable workflow, not a chaotic pile of tabs and spreadsheets, combining application tracking with practical AI support so you can apply consistently, stay organized, and improve your results over time.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Joobee.app's answer

People should choose Joobee.app over competitors because itโ€™s built around execution and measurable progress, not vague โ€œAI magic.โ€ It combines a clean end-to-end application workflow with practical AI support and transparent, token-based usage, so you stay consistent, organized, and can actually see what improves your response rate and interviews over time.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Joobee.app's answer

Joobee.app is primarily for job seekers who apply to multiple roles and want a simple, structured way to stay organized, follow up on time, and improve their chances, especially early career candidates, career switchers, and tech and non-tech professionals who are tired of tracking everything in spreadsheets and scattered notes.

What's the story behind your product?

Joobee.app's answer

Joobee.app started as a personal tool. Every time I was job hunting as a developer, I tracked applications in Excel, but it was slow, uncomfortable, and easy to abandon once the process got intense. Over time I also lost the bigger picture, how many roles I applied to in previous searches, what worked, and whether I was improving year over year. I realized this isnโ€™t just my problem: people send dozens or hundreds of applications and still have to manage the process like a project. So I built Joobee to make job hunting structured and measurable, first for myself, and then as a product that can help others too.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Joobee.app's answer

Joobee.app is built with React and Next.js using TypeScript, with a Node.js backend and AWS for cloud infrastructure and scalability, with a strong focus on security and privacy (secure authentication, least-privilege access, encrypted data in transit, and best-practice safeguards against common web vulnerabilities).

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Joobee.app's answer

Joobee.app is still early-stage, so we donโ€™t publicly list big enterprise customers yet. Today itโ€™s used primarily by individual job seekers, especially developers and career switchers, who want a structured way to track applications and improve their interview rate.

  • I almost credited llms.txt for a Google AI Mode win. Then I read what Google actually says.
Where llms.txt genuinely gets read is a different layer: coding and agent tooling โ€” Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf โ€” pulling a documentation site's pages with less token waste, plus emerging agent protocols like OpenAI's Agents SDK. That's real, and it's growing fast. - Source: dev.to / 14 days ago

For over a decade PhpStorm (starting in my WordPress era) and later WebStorm have been my main IDEs for web development. • Your Design System Needs An MCP Server
Before we get into it, there are some things about AI usage worth addressing. I've had my fair share of scepticism in the past, but recent model releases have made it increasingly difficult to argue that AI isn't a viable tool for the majority of workstreams, including building user interfaces. Most large language models are trained on public data scraped from the internet, which means your internal design system... - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
